We didn't sleep well; maybe because we weren't used to such a luxury bed and room or maybe because we haven't shared a bed since Melbourne!!!
Garth woke me up singing a quite happy birthday at 6AM :( !!!!! Buy he had candles in a blueberry muffin. He tried to make me open his card but I wanted to go back to sleep, so waited until 7.30. Garth then showed me some fantastic birthday video messages which were really special. One from Bron and Everall, two from the 3 lovely Adelaide kids (think Natasha and Darren had a competition for the best video) one from Hope (John and Isabel) which was very sweet indeed - she even blew me a kiss!!
Garth then had to return out hire car (dreading the cost of the battery replacement). There was no point in my going as well because it would just double the cost of getting transport back! so I enjoyed a quiet morning writing my blog and playing smurfs. Sylvia had a big theology book to read and we occasionally stopped for a nice chat!
Aunty Sylvia made a lovely pumpkin soup for lunch and Garth arrived back just after we started. He had hot back fine and apparently ACE didn't mention anything about the car battery - so hopefully we are okay!! :)
After lunch we took a lovely stroll around Parramatta park where we saw government house, the first farm and an awful lot of bats!!!
Sylvia dropped us at the local library on the way home where we got wifi and were able to see lovely video message from Jonny and Emily Back and even Leo singing happy birthday to me in the bath!!! What lovely surprises!! :)
We showered and packed for Uluru and Sylvia very kindly made us lamb with vegetables - which was just divine! I was craving vegetables! We enjoyed chatting, a bit of David Attenborough and an early night.
I'm 28 years old.
