OK so we've had a great couple of days in SF being quintessential tourists and getting over the flight. We've done Fisherman's Wharf, ridden open top tour buses around the city and over the GG bridge, been to an SF Giants baseball game tonight, ridden the F-Line (tram), shopped in town. But we've had enough of town and are itching to go pick up the beast tomorrow morning and get on the road into the country. It's really surprising how sunny but cold the SF micro-climate is, heatwave across much of CA yet we all had 3 layers on at the baseball tonight and Mon wanted her beanie. Baseball has to be one of the dullest sports. Boys are being really good and absorbing as much as possible - inlcuding IHOP pancakes of course. HT did a spectacular job of getting sun burnt on the tour bus even though the wind was 'fresh' as well. Head out to Fremont tomorrow and then heading for Yosemite RV park for our 'virgin' RV evening - could be interesting manoevering the 30ft, i pity my RV neighbours as i back it into their table. Wish us luck!
