We have had an exhausting couple of days, but the KLM flights and train travel went smoothly. Chiapin (our contact) collected us from the rail station and drove us to this marvellous hotel. We are here for two nights as the Dean thought we would appreciate staying in luxury whilst we explored the city. (We move to another hotel nearer the university on Monday). We had an authentic Taiwanese meal this evening in the hotel restaurant. Off to bed now and it is only 17.23 your time (but after midnight for us!).
