DreamWorld today, an interesting drive there through I guess what could only be slums to the place Where Your Wildest Dreams Come True. Kids loved anything that got them extremely soaked until we got caught in a real rainstorm with *very* loud thunder & lightning. Mental note: leave accommodation with an umbrella at the very least! So lovely to see the kids growing in confidence as we go through Bangkok, the area we're in (Sukhimvit) is a real mish-mash of allsorts, from street stalls to hotels, embassies to beggars. Meeting lots of interesting people along the way. Don't know if it's rose-tinted travel glasses or not but everyone is so helpful, friendly, kind and patient. Tomorrow it's the Grand Palace & along the canal, can't wait. Pic of the day is Andrew and Eme coming down the Super Splash at DreamWorld, I still laugh every time I see it and I've looked at it h-e-a-p-s because it's so funny.
