Whew we made it! Kids got to bed about 2.00 am NZ time & they did soooo well. Great whanau reunion at Singapore Airport. Thanks to Andrew & lots of running we got to our connecting flight with minutes to spare, can't say with confidence I would have achieved that on my own!

We've spent the morning exploring Bangkok and that has been an eye-opener to say the least...! What a place! We are going to spend the arvo at the hotel pool as kids are still a bit tired from the flight. Ahem and maybe because we walked for kilometres today in intense heat across ridiculously busy streets.

A random guy at Thailand airport *pretended* to kidnap Emerson - no exaggeration!! - & we got driven somewhere far, far away today so we could buy some clothes from the tuk-tuk driver's friend but we've all coped & lived to tell the tale!!

Wow it's hot here but for me so far 30+ degrees is pretty awesome. Kids & Andrew not so sure. Off to DreamWorld tomorrow & the kids are saying bring it on!
