Beautiful weather here in Finland! We've now moved on to Turku, where Laura goes to university. It's a nice smaller city, very pretty. Before we left Helsinki we met some of Laura's friends and went out on the town with them, to experience more 'Finish culture' of course. ;.) The next morning we went to an island outside of Helsinki to see an old fortress built in the 17th century. It was really neat looking, we read it's even an UNESCO world heritage sigh...

Country number two brings me to Finland. We are staying with Dana's friend Laura in Helsinki. Laura and her family have been very friendly and welcoming and it's nice to have a place to leave our stuff and to be able to relax. Helsinki is a very pretty city! Lots of different kind of architecture and a variety of historic and modern buildings make it very appealing to the eye. I'm so glad we have Laura to show us around here.
