Naomi and I travelled down from Perth to Albany for the weekend to see her parents and en route to Margaret River. It took 4 hours to get there from Perth. It really felt like the end of the world(the next land mass is Antartica 1000miles away). I was hoping to see some whales but didin't see any at all. Albany seemed very differnet to Perth as there were a few hills and mountains and it was very green. I did see lots of kangaroos and lots of beaches. It was a bit colder down here at night but quite warm during the day. Most of the water we went to see had sharks in it. Albany is quite famous because there was a whale factory here which is now a museum. It was very interesting and quite gross at the same time. Amazing little cafe there with beautiful views of the Southern Ocean. Naomi took me to The Gap which was quite spectactular, natural brigde and blow holes. Overall a pretty nice place and somewhere I could end up.xxx
