Paronella park > Airlie Beach
After seeing a few wid kangaroos we drove quite away to get some milelage done.
We pulled of a beaten track and headed for a waterfall, after a long trek up a hill at 9am (its actually really hot by this time) we were surrounded by hills and trees (the bush). we walked to the signedn rock pools, Tim being Tim wanted to go past the these and climb the rocks, in flip flops!
I followed and we found the actual waterfall, falling from sky hight in to a big secluded lagoon. Before you could blink mr Tim was in it splashing about like flipper, needless to say i followed shortly after and it was an amazing way to start the day.
A few hundred miles down the road we stopped at a Billabong Sanctury, in otherwords a zoo, apart from you can touch most of the animals. We fed and petted Kangaroos and also got to touch Koala's and a few other lovely animals. Tim loved the tutles so much that he donated his sunglassses to them as he lent over the pond. I think the turtles liked them, they all dived down after the sinking white glasses and they didnt bring them back up, how rude #! corocodiles were big and snappy, scary stuff, i didnt opt to touch one of those.
We drove on into the night and arrived at Airline Beach really late, but still managed to get checked into a campsite to get muched upon by all the bugs during the night.
