So on my final day of Bangkok I met a Thai girl my age from Phuket who poke perfect english, we got a longtail boat along the rivers and saw where all the local people live, we brought beer from a lady from the floating market and we had lychees too. Was pretty cool going past all the houses on stilts and kids playing in the water. Then it started to rain and then it tipped it down, we parked under a bridge n gradually other boats joined there too and evryone laid back and waited for the rain to stop. Luckily it stopped in time for me to get my overnight bus to Chaing Mai!

The first evening in Chiang Mai I went to a Muay Thai boxing match with some of the others from my guesthouse, was lots of fun! we were served drinks by ladyboys and watched matches with boys, women and men and the final fight was USA v Thailand, USA won after punching Thai to the floor where he passed out!!

The next day was the first day of my 3 day hill tribe trek which was amazing! There were 6 of us and the guide, it was a really cool group of people. The treks uphill were hard especially in the heat but so worth it for the views and activities that we did. We styed in hill tribe villages overnight where we played with the children who were adorable and os happy to see us! They showed us there dancing and the guide played the guitar while we chilled out with a couple of drinks whilst playing games. He cooked our food too which was delicious!! We went to a waterfall which was so refreshing and also went elephant riding which was awesome, the baby elephant was really naughty and kept lieing down in front of the big ones to get in the way and wallowing in the rivers. We saw water buffalo too! On the last day we went bamboo rafting along the river which was hilarious as we kept fallinbg over while trying to push oureselves along with the bamboo poles!

I`m now in Pai whioch is sooo chilled out, theres not a lot to do around here and its been raining loads but I`m either gna head back to Chiang Mai tomorrow or Sunday as I`ve gotta get my plane to Chiang Rai on monday morning for volunteering.

This week has been amazing!! :-D xxx
