Vang Vieng has been amazing! I'm now travelling with Nata from Israel and Fiona from Canada. We arrived monday evening so on Tuesday we went tubing which was so funny! You hire a big tube each and get taken up the river in a tuk tuk where they drop you off at the first bar. Theres a big rope swing which is really high up so of course I had a couple of goes! Then we floated down the river to the next bars (theres 5 main bars in total), each one has a different rope swing or slide, one of them has a mud pit where you cacn play volleyball or tug of war which is hilarious cos everyone gets soaked in mud! The final float down the river takes a bit longer - about 20 minutes - the scenery is incredible with huge limestone vistas, absolutely beautiful here! The next day we hired bikes and ccycled up to a big blue lagoon but we turned off too soon and actually ended up at an even more beautiful one than the one we had been aiming for. There was a rope swing and you could jump in and swim - such a fun day! weather was boiling hot so the bike ride was pretty hard work but the swim was such a good reward!

Yesterday we spent the day relaxing by the pool at a resort on the river front and today just stayed around town. Its so chilled out here, I love it! Tomorrow we will kayak down the river to Vientianne! Will spend a day or two there before heading South to the Four Thousand Islands.
