Yesterday we arrived on the Island of Lewis by Ferry-a day earlier than we had anticipated as we could not get on the ferry today. There has been a four day Celtic music festival here just finished on Saturday so there must have been lots of bookings today. We've been in Newtonmore for nearly a week travelling up from Ballachulish via Fort William last Saturday. We visited the Highland Museum in Fort William we spent 2 hours there just taking in the history. We collected our car in Glasgow and within a short time were on the A82 driving past Loch Lomond, through the magnificent Trossachs National Park past Ben Nevis and Glen Coe and on to our first rural stop, Ballaculish.
