Good morning dear readers!
I am in Oxford after a blissful night of sleep and a shower with a constant stream of water with a temeperature that doesn't peel the skin off my back. Bliss.
After I left you yesterday Mich and I went to see 'Eclipse', the new Twilight movie. I have never been more bored and amused at the same time in a movie before. The angst in that thing! However, credit where it's due, there were a few funny lines and moments, and you have to apprecitate a man who looks good with his shirt off. However the line "I see you managed to get your shirt off" is appropriate here. Thank you Alan.
Then we went on to meet up with Lauren, a good friend from my Gap year in China. It was so great to see her again and the catch-up was worth coming to a town that smells like drains for. We went to her house that she shares with a whole load of University students and it was interesting. They were having a big night on the booze and Mich and I were so tired that it was quite awkward at times. British people drinking is even worse than Australians! For one I couldn't understand what they were saying most of the time.
Then it was back to the hostel for a good night of sleep.
This morning I had a wonderful shower, breakfast and now I am here writing this. I am also watching the Tour de France prologue on the SBS website which is very exciting.
Just a short and sweet one today. I've got to love you and leave you.
Until next time.
