notes from the road: a savage journey to the heart of the american dream from around the world.
its a funny thing that happens. they say you never know when love begins, but you know exactly when it ends. i cant help thinking that its hurts much worse when you dont want it to be that way, but you cant do anything about it. this seems to be the case, i am thinking, about 50% of the time. its a two way street my friend, but its sure hard to deal with when you're both going opposite directions. f*** it. when its all over, everything will be ok. if its not ok, then it isnt over yet. right? they say that too, i guess. i like thinking its true but am having a harder time believing it every day. one thing is for sure, when it is over, you'll f***ing know it. if not, i guess it doesnt really matter anyways.
the sun came up this morning, like always, far too early for a creature of my blood. i dont remember the last time i actually saw the sun rise. and if i ever did, it was probably because i hadnt gone to sleep yet. the point is, morning came far too soon and brought with it a brand new wave of blood hungry, ruthless and unforgiving mosquitos. normally i dont like to kill things, even just ants, but ive certainly made a much needed exception with these f***ers. godforsaken swine. if there were a devil, he'd sure be friends with these b******s. then i might have a reason not to kill them. otherwise i'd feel the wrath of the devil himself. thank god im an athiest and dont believe in that b.s. otherwise id be doomed. either way, i think most sane human beings, and there isnt many of us left, would be hard pressed to find a reason to let those crazy b******s live. thats the way i see it anyways. just one mans opinion, so they say.
