Another week has passed and I can not belive how fast time is running right now. The football course in Secunda was cancelled at short notice, so on Monday we had a meeting with the Departments about the Sports and Fun Days. During these days we will be visiting school and do lots of activities with them like , sack race, jumping castles and water slides. The first very exciting days in South Africa have passed. So far we do not have much work to do for the project, so Dohy (the other volunteer) and I did some trips to see more of the beautiful environment. We went to Kappsche Hoop, a very nice little town, where we hiked to a nice spot on the top of a mountain and had a beautiful view over South Africa and Swaziland. Yesterday i arrived in South Africa, it is about 35 degress, sunny and very hot, but I am happy no more snow. The other volunteer Dohy and the project coordinator picked me up at the airport and then we drove to the volunteer house in White River. The house is very nice, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room, kitche and a garden.
