Last week of Canadian Parks West...
Day 16
I had one day to explore Vancouver, so I got up early and started walking around!
Walked around a very nice neighborhood for a couple of hours, before i spotted a little charming coffee shop at a corner if the street, the sun was shining, so I sat down there and had a good cup of tea while I read my book and watched people walk by. After that I started walking again, doing some window shopping and looking inside cool stores, just to bad I had little money and little space in my backpack! I walked to some nice beaches where I sat down and enjoyed the sun for a while, then I walked by the shore around a park called Stanley Park. The weather was nice, people were smiling as they passed by, and I fell in love with Vancouver and its many green areas, beaches, earthy residential areas and many charming coffee shops! When i have been walking the whole day on the shore around the city I, i started heading back to the hostel, stopped for a smoothie at benz coffee to let my feet relax before the last bit of walking! Took a long warm shower and went to bed early!
Day17
Got woken up by early in the morning from my travel agent calling me. My flight from hungary had been cancelled, so I had to get up sort out that and also try to get a ferry back to seattle.. If was struggling while to sort those things out, and I they were out of coffee at the breakfast so I was a bit grumpy for a while.. But I forgot all about that when we got on the ferry to Vancouver Island, it was nice to bee outside on deck with wind in my face looking out on the sea:-)
After the ferry, we drove 4 more hours to get to our campsite in Tofino! Where they had Sauna and a hot tub:-) After dinner, we stayed in the hot tub until going to bed!
Day 18
Time for getting out in a Rib boat and look for some whales!
We put on a big, red warm suit and an even bigger rain jacket before climbing into the boat.
It was a bit windy and, we had lots of fun jumping up and down on the big waves:-)
After a while we spotted some grey whales, sea lions and sea otters! We were all hoping to see some killer whales, but it wasn't our lucky day! We went further up the west coast of vancouver island and stopped for a couple of hours where we walked along a trail in the forest to get to a nice little spot by the rough shore where some hot springs were situated in between the boulders.
After that, it took us a couple of hours of hours to get back with the boat, It was raining and cold weather, but we got some funny looking googles and the big suits kept us warm.
After dinner that night, we went to a big beach to see the sunset:-) And also went by the sauna before we made some s`mores on the campfire. What a nice day :-)
Day 19
In the morning, most of the group went sea kayaking, but I still had to sort out some stuff online, so I went to a coffee place with computers, and after that ate my lunch on a nice beach! The sun was shining, warming my face, and I fell asleep for a little while:-)
Later on, we went on a really good hike! It was called `The Wild Pacific Trail`. It went through temperate rainforest along the shore, the combination of the mystic and ancient looking forest and the big waves crushing on the rough shore was really cool!
After dinner we spent the rest of the night in the hot tub, even ate an ice cream in the tub:-)
Day 20
My last day on the tour.. Since my Travel agent had misjudged the time we would get back to seatlle, my flight was too early the next day for us to get there in time. So I had to leave one day before. We drove 7 hours to get down to Victoria. A beautiful little city on the south tip of Vancouver Island.I think we had the warmest day so far on the trip! Walked around a little bit, chilled out in a park, had a tasty sandwich at restaurant, bought some gifts and walked around a bit more before I had to get on the ferry to Seattle!. It was a 2,5 hour ride, but I ended up talking with an elderly couple the whole time.I stopped by a hostel to get some stuff I had stored there, went to the airport, crawled into my sleeping bag and slept on a bench. It might sound like a bad night, but after camping for 3 weeks I have got used to sleeping on a hard ground in a cold tent, and I actually got a good sleep on that bench, hehe:)

But that means my travel is over... I`ve had such a good time, been to fantastic places and met a lot of wonderful people!
Thank you all for following me on my journey, I really appreciated the comments :-)
