Hi, I only have ten minutes to type this blog, as it is very expensive here in Hong Kong to use the computer.
Well...We all ate at Danielli's last night. It was really good, but the amount of food they gave us was about the amount we'd eat for an appetizer. No wonder people are skinny here. Anyways, we took an early flight from Shanghai to Hong Kong. Our flight was delayed for an hour, but time went by pretty fast. The Typhoon missed Hong Kong, so that's good. After we got to our hotel and mapped things out, we hopped on a ferry to Hong Kong Island, which is on the opposite side of Hong Kong Bay. Our hotel is on part of Hong Kong called Kowloon. When we got over to Hong Island, we hopped into a taxi an had him take us to "Soho." It's kind of like San Francisco and New York wrapped into one. It is very hilly like San Francisco, and there are lots of shops and restaurants like New York. There is store after store with fresh fruit, vegetables, fish that are still flopping around, clothes stores, bars, restaurants, herb stores, etc. You name it, it's in Hong Kong. People are from all over. It's amazing. We found a Mexican restaurant to eat at. It was really good, but very expensive. My mom and I had gelato afterwards. It was so delicious.
We took a taxi back to our hotel, and now we are going up to the rooftop of ou hotel to watch the Symphony of Lights. The Symphony of Lights, is a light show put on by most of the major buildings on Hong Kong Island.
Our computer time is running out. Sorry this is so short. I'll blog tomorrow. Tony!
