Hello all
I thought I had better enter my first blog (cant leave it all to Tam). We have made an agreement whereby Tam will write the constructive travel progress, and I shall write the less responsible tit tat and stories. So India, from my view it is a dirty smelly, polluted, and far too populated! Otherwise it's great. My immodium tablets I'm pleased to report are still intact, much to my astonishment. I suppose I have to get straight in and provide a toilet update! How stall I describe it? The squat toilets are more practical than "western style" and thus far have managed not to crap in my pants! A few close scrapes in trying to find a toilet and the hygiene I will leave to your imagination. We carry plenty of loo roll as toilets do not have - so you can imagine, I have a few rolls handy at any one time. Missing my andrex though. We saw a man have a crap in full view on a main street today. Not nice. Tam had her first wee in a bush a few days ago, much to her displeasure. She is still getting use to the squatting! Anyway, anough for now about toilets.
Our stomach have succomed to the inevitable - that being curry, curry, curry. Paratha for breakfast, dhal and roti for lunch (much enjoyed by our taxi driver) and veg curry and roti for dinner. It takes some doing and I'm waiting for the occasion I start to perspire masala. That said, we have a current reprive and have enjoyed a sandwich today. I could murder a roast dinner!
That's all from me today
