Arrived at around 9:30am from the airport. The traffic here is insane! Our hotel is in a great location!

We started our day with a meal at a beautiful spot called Cafe Follies, just down the street from our hotel.

We then had a walk around our immediate neighborhood and tried to get our phones and 3G working. Much harder than we thought it would be!! People are very helpful (so much more than I was lead to believe!!) but I guess French telco's are just the same as the Aussie ones.... :(

Another thing that amused us, was sitting out the front of a bar for a quick refreshing bevy and ciggy, and being told by the barman that we would need to come inside with our cigarettes because glass ashtrays were prohibited outside. Didn't think we'd see the day where you're told to come inside to smoke!!!

We walked alot and saw some amazing shops and sights. We spotted the 'Oz Bar' and couldn't go past without having a beer. Were lots of people there, but no Aussies. What was on tap? Fosters!!

We then crossed the road, at extreme peril, to a restaurant for dinner. Had a crazy waitress called Nadia who chose our meals and drinks for us... don't think we'll be doing that again in a hurry :)

We were all a bit pooped after dinner so decided to call it a night at around 9pm - the sun wasn't even close to setting!
