Hi Everyone. Wed 21 April We went to the top of the world (Germany's world) today. We're at a ski resort Zugspitze. Took a small train to the top of the mountains. We've never seen scenery quite like it, hope you like the photos., Lots of snow but quite warm in the sun and warm in the town where we are staying. Train ride was one hour and the last 20mins was in a tunnel, twisting & climbing inside a mountain to a height of 2960 meters. Quite amazing. ...

We are parked under the southern alps of Germany bordering with Italy, Austria & Switzerland. There's snow on the mountain tops only a couple of kms away. It'a starting to get cold now 8p.m. Looking forward to taking the train high up into the mountains tomorrow, just hoping the weather holds, Germany's highest mountain.

Hi everyone. We are staying at this nice camp ground and we have free internet, yippee. The last 2 days we have been touring "The Romantic Road" and stopping at historical villages, many dating back to the 1600's. Many of them are walled, some with moats and all with a dominant church or castle.. The sun is shining and its warm and the cafes are full of friendly chatty, helpful and laughing Germans. Hi everyone. At last the camper is ready. Thursday 2.00 p.m.We'll leave tomorrow rather than rushing today. Beautiful warm sunny day. Heading south to Romantic Road, sth of Frankfurt. Many small villages joined by small roads as apposed to one main road.. Will post pictures of "Betsy" as soon as we take delivery. Just back from "The Lucky Town", Gluckstadt dating back to the early 1600,s. It's built around the square and market place. Old old buildings and old cobbled streets. We've never seen so many coffee drinkers or smokers. The kids start smoking really young here. This town sits on the North Sea and the river Elbe, goes through to Hamburg.
