We slept late waking to a constant drizzle & a big temp drop. Yesterday it was 38, today 23. We got to take a good look around our home for the next few days and found we are on a very picturesque part of the Long Island Sound.
We took it slow heading first to Enterprise Cars to re-do the contract. Even though we have the car for two months they want us to re-sign at the one month point which passed while in DC and not practical to do from there.
A quick trip around the local whole foods market to restock the fridge and home for a home cooked breakfast - sheer bliss to have a proper kitchen lol
A fifteen minute drive got us to Norm's new shop which is massive. He showed us around his tank building and maintenance offices and warehouse and that's a huge operation too. There's a lot still needs doing in the store but it's going to be amazing when finished. We tried to offer to help but there wasn't much we could do so we offered to return tomorrow when they have the necessary tools there and do some coral fragging. They don't have as much coral as they'd like for the opening so us fragging some will make it appear as if there's more than there is.
Back to Norm's and we settled in for the night, caught up on some things from Oz, did some washing, posted a few overdue blogs, had a home cooked dinner and listened to the rain fall gently through the evening.
Norm got in after nine, was knackered so we only saw him for an hour or so before he crashed out, we weren't too far behind him.
