Welcome to Hong Kong!
Ok so today has been a fascinating day to say the least. Hong Kong is very different to China. I took a stroll down by the Harbour which was scenic, however the muggy weather didn't help when taking photographs.
I can't walk 2 minutes without some Indian guy approaching me. First of all "I'm not your boss!", "I don't want hashish!", "I don't want a rolex!", "I don't want a foot massage!", "I don't want a sexy massage!" and if I did want any of these things the prices have suddenly escalated ten times to that of China.
After a walking around for a while I have found somewhere that does chicken wings, noodles and an iced coffee for £10. Not bad you may say, but this is Hong Kong's answer to a greasy spoon!
Maybe it's tiredness after the journey, maybe I'm a bigger tight arse than I realised, or maybe I'll have a different outlook after a full days sightseeing tomorrow.
First impressions aren't so great, however I suppose I can't love everywhere I visit. To top it all off, it's just started raining!!

Irene and Tom We've heard of whistle stops before but never with so much activity in a short time. All the very best for the next phase in Thailand.
