Without a doubt, Bangkok will get the better of you after a few days. The constant avoidance of Tuk Tuks and suit salesmen, although an experience to start with, will soon become a chore. By night Khao San becomes a hotbed for both amazing bars and live music, buckets of cocktail (usually Sang Som which is a travellers favourite dirt cheap whiskey) and the amazing atmosphere is a must-do experience. However, during the day it can be a bit tiresome. Tomorrow I'm heading to Chiang Mai, which is a more chilled out and fun place for travellers to head (so i hear). The journey is about 700miles and i've managed to book an airconditioned coach for 400 baht (7-8 pounds). Now for the nitty gritty.
Interesting revelation, so it turns out that the hostel I booked is actually run and owned by a former ladyboy, this revelation came after a night out with some other travellers, where i ran into both the hostel owner and some one who shares a dorm with me getting up in each others grill.. a sight that i will never forget. Apparently the 'fad' here is to have a penis and in that respect I guess I've never been so popular... but this is something I hope will soon fade. So far my ass has been pinched anywhere between 10 and 20 times, and I've been giving the email addresses by at least 3 suspect ladyboys! Kinda glad to be getting outta here. Heres hoping for a quiet night. Peace out y'all
