I started the day by walking the dog through Friston Forrest and then Linda and I went into Eastbourne for a bit of shopping. I had to buy some bigger shirts to allow for the effects from all our wining and dining during the last 6 or 7 weeks.
At 12 noon 7 of us set off on bikes for a roundabout ride to the English Wine Centre at Drusillas for lunch. However it was a long ride so we stopped off at the Sussex Ox for a quick pint before completing our ride. We rode home via a much more direct route and managed to pass the Plough and Harrow without stopping for another pint!! (how is that for willpower)
A quick siesta and then a light supper of cheese and biscuits etc then a bit of reading before an early night.
