Well our penultimate day in Port Douglas has been a fairly casual day, which started with a cooked breakfast aboard Katsumi. Linda and I spent the morning in town shopping and checking out the shops and eateries before having a fish and chip lunch on the boardwalk at the marina. A short siesta in the afternoon was the order of the day before joining Nick, Lyndy, Lily and Sayuri at The District club for a drink and to watch the boats entering and leaving the marina. Tonight we are having dinner on board Katsumi. I am doing Japanese oysters as a starter followed by Baramundi in filo pastry the Baramundi was caught in the marina by one of our neighbors last night and Nick and Lyndy are going to cook it. Well must pause the blog the anti malarial medication is ready (nothing like a good G&T at sunset). Well Nick did a great job of the fish. All in all a great last night dinner, only down side was the sound of drills and grinders on the boat opposite us that was burning the midnight oil getting ready for a charter (bit rude)
