When I last left I think was about to go for supper, for which I had a prawn stir fry which was incrediable!!!!! Favours are amazing, then started chatting to this 30 year old girl who had the look of a seasoned warrior so I thought I would get her to impart some advice. After a humid and sleepless nite in my hotel room. I decided to take up part of the advice given to me which was strike north to Chang Mai which I am now, but any 1 who thought this to be a simple matter is deeply mistaken!! Shopping for tours in bangkok is like looking for computers on the internet, you look for the chestest but then u cant help but think y is it the chestest\\???
Shopping round having brought nothing yet after an hour of ponder I bumbed into the lad Chen in pic above- or rather he dragged me into his tok-tok!! I then spent the day whizzing round bangkok for about 13p, the catch being we stopped at 3 sute shops on route as well as a travel agent where i ending up booking a plan for my entire stay in Thailand!! Setting me back 270 pounds!!!! That price includes all my travel expences accomidation, diving certificate and 3 day camping excersion which starts tomorrow, including Elephant riding, Bamboo rafting waterfall swimimng and a fair bit of being eatten by mosy\'s in a highly malarious zone!!! Lets hope those tablets are working ok?? Later on I had no hotel and no train for 5 hours- over niter by the way 15 hours, so any way browsed through a slightly dodgy part of Bangkok where I was asked by 3 random thai peezs to join them for drinks, and 1 guy asked if i would join him for supper- their houses flow out onto the street u see. I joined on 2 occations for the drinks during which I was astonished by the kindness shown to me \'here have some whisky- where you heading -\'Train Station\'- all the best my friend\' I seriously regret now being too worried to except the invitation to supper would have been a massive experience thai cooking from a thai familly, be sure I wont make that mistake again! 3 hours at the train station tlking to travellers and a thai guy! The train to chang mai was an adventure in its self, just like bed packed together 2 a piece stacked down either side of the train met a fair few tavellers on board. Woke up to a dodgey break fast and the rainforest rushing past on either side!! Got off the train and a thai gut had a sign ROSS STUART, who pick me up and drove me to my hostel which is charming as mum wld say!!
I off now i havent said every thing but im not accually in a internet cafe im just on like a single computer behind the counter on some open air shop -Bizzare till next time Stu xxx
