Thailand has arrived!! and not a moment to soon. was sick of the crowds in hong kong (i know its busy here too but nothing compared to kowloon). anyway arrived to rain which was a bit crap but can be expected at this time of year. sun shortly arrived though just as we walked onto kho san road...magic. was a relief to find some people our age. its alot more humid here and air con is nothing compared to hong kong but im not bothered about that anymore as im getting used to the heat. spent our first night on kho san road, firslty watching the game then trying out the bars with some people we met (also newbies). im liking the prices here...already starting replacing clothes. think we are gonna chill around the bangkok area for until the footy finals or until we get bored (whichever comes first). witnessed a poor lad getting down and dirty with a ladyboy last night (wasnt chick) i was stunned that he couldnt tell and felt like i should tell him but his mates wouldnt alow it. he then suggested to him/her that they'go back to his room which we just sat back and let it happen.....nasty but funny. food here is alot more suited to westeners than hong kong- in hong kong we couldnt find many dishes which you could say you'd get back in england. im kind of happy about that though as i had some disasters when it came to ordering food in hong kong.

today we will do some shopping, something we have both been looking forward to doing after briefly witnessing the range and prices last night. also gonna change hostels as the one we are in is too nice (not expensive) but full of older people. think we will try that Four Sons that carter suggested. i'll try and make it to that MBK centre either today or tomorrow and check out the watches for carter. if im unsure ill take a few pics and send them to ya. sorry that my travelling pics still arent up but i didnt bring leads again. internet cafe is just outside hotel though and its dirt cheap so il put em on later today. tonight will be on kho san rd again...drinking. its a hard life but we wanna meat some people and that is definitly the best way of doing it.    toodle pip
