Congratulations on your engagement! And a belated happy birthday Emma (sorry)!
We were in Paris on 29-30 January for our Marketing Managers meeting, during which I had a 3-hour slot the second day on the reasonably controversial topic of Marketing Effeciveness Reviews (formerly known as Marketing Audits). As part of my "building rapport" development plan mallarky, I thought it would be a good idea to start my slot by showing your blog to all attendees, and that was popular!! They all LOVED the picture of the bull The best thing was that we all found out about your engagement at the same time, which all made our day.
Speak soon.

Heya Em and Stu,
If only I had logged on to your blog last weekend whilst in the Barossa, I would have toasted your fantastic news from the finest vineyards in the land. But I guess it will have to be from Sydney town (perhaps your new home at some point in the future??!!!!?!?!?!)
Great to hear that your trip is going so well. I am not at all jealous....
CHEERS!!!

PS Emma - Fancy getting engaged to someone I have never met!!

Stu - Here's some further excellent news for the happy couple:
The provisional divorce rate in England and Wales fell by 8 per cent to 13.0 divorcing people per 1,000 married population in 2005.
Divorce rates for men and women under 40 have fallen most steeply: by 13 per cent and 12 per cent respectively in 2005. For men aged under 40 the divorce rate of 24.9 divorcing men per 1,000 married men aged 16 to 39 is the lowest since 1988. Not since 1990 has the divorce rate for women aged under 40 been at this level: 24.7 divorcing women per 1,000 married women aged 16 to 39 in 2005.
Between 2004 and 2005, the number of divorces granted in the UK decreased by 7 per cent to 155,052, from 167,138. This is the lowest number of divorces since 2000, and the first annual decrease since 1999/2000. This is 14 per cent lower than the highest number of divorces which peaked in 1993 (180,018).
I looked for figures on mixed-race marriages, but they only do caucasian and non-caucasian.
