Currently sitting in an internet cafe just off Patpong road preparing to go and check out all the sleaziness Bangkok has to offer. That said, Stu has already (unwittingly) had a 2hr massage from a ladyboy. As a defence, it was very dark in the room and emma was also in the room throughout. Only upon paying did the adams apple and stubble ra…
Hello all. Thanks to all who have been visiting and posting messages. Just loving this technology. We're just over half way through now. Seemed to go nice and slowly to start with, but reckon it will fly from now. Just Cambodia, Bangkok, Melbourne and Fiji to go before we're heading back to old Blighty. Looking forward to catching up with everyone in Melbourne and London. Stuart & Emma

Emma, are you sure? Perhaps it's the opium or the Thai buckets.Congratulations ! Enjoy the rest of the trip.

Stuart,We are happy to confirm that you have been arbitrarily mobilised by Tim, Simon and myself to join us into the Chubb Cycling Challenge from London-Paris from 13-17 June. Please confirm to me that you are OK with the dates ASAP - we are paying some money up front for you. We need to raise £1,100 each for Cardiac Risk in the Young, but Chubb will match anything we raise, so that leaves £550 each to raise, but we need to pay 75% of that money now.Looking forward to hearing your confirmation very soon!Hope the trip is still going well and that you don't fear the return to harsh realities too much.Olivier

Hi Stuart and Emma,Congratulations on your engagement. Really excited for you both but not at all surprised (you always seem so completely loved up). Looking forward to celebrating with you and hearing all about your trip when you get back to London. Bet you must be gutted that it is nearly over. Enjoy Paul and Libby's wedding and if possible please can you video Paul's speach (I have a feeling that it will be unmissable).Take care. Lots of loveSaz xxx

StuartThank you for your reply although i confess that your message has left me a broken cat.....yes i have had the operation and it went very well. I now feel that I have no alternative but to break free from my home and track you down. I have found out from my sources that you return to these shores very soon and my new friend sylvester has tracked down your home address. I will be waiting for you and take my word for it.....you'll be sorry you ever had the misfortune to cross my path.I have never told you this before (and I suspect neither did the RSPCA) but before you started to support me financially I served time in a local dogjail for GDH (Gross Doggily Harm). I have never lost my vicious streak and I fully intend to take it out on you when I see you. I have been sharpening my claws and my new whiskers are made from broken glass. You will pay for your lack of loyalty. Mark my words....Watch your back

Who is the girl on the right hand side of all these screens wearing a green bikini. She seems to be asking me to send my photo to her but I'd prefer to know her name before we get into anything...

Dear Frank,Thanks for your continuing devotion to our website. However, I write with some bad news; two months in asia have entirely changed my perspective on the man/canine relationship (or feline or rodent for that matter). I am no longer in the "man's best friend" camp and subscribe more to the "best served with rice and oyster sauce" argument. Please flick to the photo album section to see a dish we ate in Saigon a few weeks back. I feel I must therefore inform you that kenneling payments will now cease. Furthermore, on my return, I will be straight round with a wok and some soya sauce.regards, your former benefactor, Stuart

Stuart and Emma I write with some interesting news. Given your recent lack of communication and apparent fondness of all things feline, I have decided to book myself in for an operation to become a cat......in a last-ditch attempt to attract your attention. The operation is a straight-forward procedure which basically sees the surgeon shrink me to a third of my current size and attach whiskers to my face. I'm told the success rate is around 99%.I will send pictures of my new appearance as soon as the operation is completed but I hope that my actions will persuade you to come and get me immediately. I can assure you I haven't taken the decision to become a cat lightly.RegardsFrank

I'm back. As we approach the 9 year anniversary of my untimely demise, I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you, Chesneau, that the post of General Secretary of the Khmer Rouge remains vacant. The role profile extends to the following:The torture and execution of Western-educated intellectuals, educated people in general, people who had contact with Western countries, people who appeared to be intelligent (for example, individuals with glasses), the crippled and lame, and ethnic minorities like ethnic Chinese, Laotians and Vietnamese. Interrogation and torture in all cases (ie not exclusive to the above list), where a confession is useful to the government. Summary execution as and when deemed necessary or desirable5yrs proven despotic experience Langauge skills an advantage (as long as it's not a non-Cambodian dialect); in which case language skills = summary executionKind regardsPol

Stu, sounds like you're having a good time on your travels. Bangkok could be a good place to fine-tune those pool playing skills....... mind you, if you find you keep winning in suspicious circumstances, I'd suggest those strangely alluring "fella's" you're playing against may have a hidden agenda, in which case adopt a Crocodile Dundee-style screening test before playing any "show me your's, I'll show you mine". Engagement - congratulations! Emma, you obviously did something wrong in your past life......Enjoy the rest of your trip. Terry

I'm clearly well out of touch both with you and modern technology because I've only just learned of your great news via Reg. Congratulations! Wicked news. Looks like you're having a great trip, I'm mighty envious. I'm currently stuck in audit hell so I know where I'd rather be.It's been a busy 2007 so far. I start a new job next week - I'm going to be Fundraising Manager at Stop Climate Chaos (www.stopclimatechaos.org). I'll let you have my new details as and when.Off to the Maldives on a 'research trip' in two weeks. cheersht

Hi there!Sorry I haven't posted a message yet - just worked out how to do it. Rest assured I have been enjoying the photos and news about your adventures across Asia and made to feel jealous about your footloose and fancy free existence. Very pleased to hear about the engagement - great news guys. Slightly miffed that Stuart didn't ask my permission re marrying my only sister but I guess a good clip behind the ears should sort him out when I see you kids in March in HK.Melbourne was great - mother's 60th was golden. All the speeches were so much funnier than Barnaby's which was a little embarrassing for him. I guess he's got a bit of work to do on his public speaking before going to the bar. Poor thing. Bless him.So where and when will the wedding be held? Do I need to book a trip to London or Melbourne? Travel safe, eat well, drink that cheap whisky - the one with the cat on the bottle.TTJ x
