Hey guys just killing some time so I thought I'd update the diary to keep you informed of what we're doing.

After the first night of heavy drinking Josh and I took it easier mainly due to the way bars and restaurants like to rip you off with beer sales here! So we stayed in a few nights watching movies talking to the other travellers here. We've been up both the Petronas towers (twin towers) and the KL tower which is the CN tower lookalike. We've pondered through Chinatown and the main shopping district which is all very nice and pretty.

KL has definitely been more exciting than Singapore for a number of reasons: Better nightlife; more of a city buzz; I didnt have flu; in the dorms we've made some friends and lots of people have shared their stories that have been pretty entertaining etc etc.

Last night was awesome... Chinese New Year need I say more. Literally outside our hostel was a big party with a big karaoke stage, which came into some use later on in the evening.. Did I mention it was free beer and food til the early hours. It was pure and simply a great night mingling with drunken locals and eating lamb and pig off the hog roast type thing. We went to bed at 5 and had to be up at 9:30 to check out etc, it took some doing but we made it and now we're waiting for a bus to get to Penang so take care all.
