We boarded on time in Perth, sat down to enjoy the flight and watched the TV screens which show the camera angels from outside the plane, only to find our ones were not working. We got moved to and exit isle (b***** lol). All the leg room Steve needed.

Settled in for the 10.5 hr flight, had a meal, popped a sleeping tablet and got woken up for breakfast, hard life , being on holidays. Steve catnapped and spilt his Beer.

Arrived in Dubai at 5am (9am Perth time), caught a train to the next terminal, had a coffee and waited for the next flight to Paris. We looked around Dubai airport which is nothing short of amazing.

Flight from Dubai to Paris was very quiet, watched a couple of movies, while Steve gawked out the window checking out Kuwait oil fields, Iraqi border, Suez Canal, Cairo and the Nile, Greek Islands, Athens, Swiss Alps and the France country side.

Navigated our way through streets of Paris to our hotel, a quick change of clothes and a walk around Paris to get our bearings. We walked along the Seine, caught glimpses of some of the famous Paris landmarks then found a nice bar to have our meal. Walking back to the hotel we found a supermarket, stocked up on water and headed back to sleep for the night or I should say crash for the night.

A very long day!
