After some teething troubles the blog looks like it finally works. So we're about to upload all our blogs from the first week. We're writing them by hand and putting them online when we can...thanks for watching!

Well we've made it!! We're on the road again this time for four months - scary and exciting! We were so keen to leave that we actually left Stephen's Mum and Dad's house 3 times - we've never been so disorganised before - but heck it's only a little trip! The Intrepid staff who took us to the hotel spoke great English - just as well as the hotel staff spoke none! In the evening we went shopping then walked past all the restaurants near the hotel. Each establishment adopts the same process - one person outside tries to attract you in, another 2 or 3 try and park cars in litttle or no space and everyone else inside feeds you.

Anyway, we're tired so enough for tonight - need our energy as apparently Beijing is on the large side!
