So it's our last day in Thailand today :( boooooooo! We've had such a good time here and don't really want to leave! We've met some AMAZING people and have so many hilarious stories to tell!
Since I last wrote we have done the trek in Chang Mai - it was hard work! We all agreed we have NEVER sweated so much in our lives. It was a killer - but we survived lol. We would constantly have little breaks where we could all go and sit in the waterfalls, we definetly needed them to cool us down. The food was the best we had eaten. We had thai green curry, egg friend rice, yellow curry, pad thai, lots of fruit - it was delicious!! The last day was by far the best where we got to do riverrafting - we all got thrown in many times. And we got to ride an elephant. They are so cuteeee :) Where we slept was an expericence to put it one way. Both nights we slept in little shacks with mosquito nets (with holes in haha) around us. It was pretty weird but we were so tired, we all managed to sleep well apart from being bitten by the many ants, mozzies and spiders surrounding us! The trek was a great experience and we met some great friends who will hopefully be in contact with for a long time to come :)
After the trek we spent some time relaxing in Chang Mai! Chilling by the pool, eating lovely meals and drinking strong cocktails! It was nice to spend some time in one place and have time to settle in. We then caught the overnight bus to Bangkok - it was pretty disgusting to be honest. Dirty, old and just vile haha. As soon as we got on the bus we all took up two seats and pretended we were asleep so we had more room and didn't have to sit by any freaks haha. Selfish, we know - but why not lol?! We then arrived to our hostek at 6am and slept on the floor for a couple of hours :) the floor is pretty comfy actually - we're definetly getting into the swing of travelling now!
The last night in Bangkok was possibly the funniest night of my life! We planned for it to be a quiet night but NO - that never happens with us. We broke a glass in a restaurant and refused to pay for it, went through endless arguments with the waitor and a guy who was blatently not the boss (he looked about 12) but was pretending to be. So then they resorted to the police. Which then of course we thought - maybe we should just pay and get the hell outta town :P
We then went into 7/11 and bought some alcohol and sat on the streets drinking! Classy birds!! We then got even classier and went to a ping pong show - it was pretty AMAZING what those girls can do with their loo loo's :D I then got touched up by an old fat disgusting man and quite politely told him to do one! Thailand is a pretty crazy and random place for sure!!
So yes that is all for now. We are leaving for Sydney soon and are really excited to explore a new place! Even though we are going to miss our Thai curry's!! Will update again soon, lots of love xxxx
