Hello everyone,

The weather is now raining in Beijing so i though i would take the opportunity to come and write on here before i forget everything!

Well my views on china have COMPLEATLY changed! before i was not to keen on the city but now i love it! its such a great interesting place! the city centre itself is still a pain and the people and the culture is great! i have learnt so much about beijing i will interest you with some facts so mum and dad you know i am learning to not just partying!!! So beijing is one of the most populated (15.4 million) countries in the world!! the one city is the same size as belgum!! it is also the most polluted country in the world and one day spend in the city is the same as smoking 70 cigarettes a day!!!!!!!! thats the reson why i dont like the city! also the chinnese people all spit on the streets everywhere because they have beijing cough!! due to all the pollution! :-) you impressed!!

i have also learnt some chinnese words! knee how is hello, che che is thank you, meow meow is cat!! i havent seen it on the menu yet!! we had our first proper chinnese meal last night which i absoloutly loved! the restaurant was in the hutong which is where were staying so like a small back street but the food was amazing i was to scared to try before as if you see the places you would not wanna go there! but we had loads of different dishes and it was really great!

I have been able to practise my spanish here been speaking to a mexican guy and also a spanish girl last night so practise makes perfect we have also made friends with people from sweden, america, irland, new zealand, holland, canada, germany friends from all over the world so im taking addresses for our next destinations! got a place in nz sorted already :-)

As far as temples goes i think we are almost templed out in china! they are all beautifull but very similar you will see on the photos which promise i will add soon! On Tuesday we went to the Temple of Heavon which was beautifull and we got lost so a nice chinnese man took us there which was fun and yesterday we went to the summer palace which again was gorgeous took a boat ride there from beijing zoo then walked about 10km around this huge lake up and down steps! then today we went to find the forbidden city which is impossible to find! we walked all the way around tienemen square which took about 2 hours but still couldnt find it! it is also not signed on any maps!

So overall we are having a fantastic expereince tomorrow we are going on a tour of the great wall of china! so we will have to be up very early! so cant drink to much 40p beer tonight!! although i did just get ripped off i treated myself to a carona and is was 20 yuan!! about 130p!!! i was shocked its the same price as a good meal!
