Last Day was back to Ele kitchen to make banana balls and scrubbing pumpkins, After we had a group photo taken and said goodbye to Geoffrey and Laura and also Allison that all had early flights. After we took saffron ribbon to tie around the trees, this is a Buddhist blessing and prevents loggers for cutting them down. Our last lunch was as delicious as ever, we had time for one last bath time before heading back into town, was sad to leave ENP, not just the Elephants but everyone I meet along the way, from my fellow volunteers especially my roommate Marilyn, and the honeymoon couple Geoffrey and Laura, to the girls in the Ele Kitchen and everyone that puts there heart and soul in ENP. I wondered if this experience would change me and I can honestly say that it has, it made me think more about the treatment of animals within tourism and has saddened me to see the cruel torture some of them are put though. I don't think I can ever look at an Elephant they same way again. ENP is at the forefront of a new way of Elephant tourism and treatment, and I can not wait to come back and do it all again.
