Its been a fantastic couple of weeks in Sydney so far. I moved into a multi share room and have made good friends with the other travellers in the room. We have had a day out to sydney aquriam which was great and spent the afternoon browsing round the shops in the city. A week later some of the guys left and I decided to take a trip to the blue mountains outside of sydney. I set of on afriday afternoon and found out that the trains had been stopped for work on the lines so I had to catch a coach which would take a further two hours! never mind.. It was nice to get out of the bustle of the city and as I travelled through the suburbs the scenery started to change in to countryside. further into the trip I also nocticed that the roads were getting steeper which meant I was getting closer to the mountians.

 I arrived in the afternoon in  small town called katoomba which is right on the edge of the mountains. It seemed like a nice place with lots of small cafe's and shops. I had to check into the YHA hostel and dump my luggage so I headed up the nain street found the hostel and checked in. The room was nice and I noticed it had radiaters meaining it got pretty cold up here in the winter.
