After placing my makeup in a clear sandwich bag, i bid my final goodbye to my rather emotional parents. The second i walked through the departure gates i found myself constantly looking back. I'm not too sure wether it was to see one last wave, catch that last blown kiss or just to see a familar face for one last time. For as i looked forwa…
I'm Stacey. I'm 21 years old. I'm the kind of girl who is first on the dance floor (with or without the influence of Apple sour shots) attempting to sing and dance like they do in the music videos. Constantly having a million had-to-be-there-times. Or at least I used to. By the age of 19 I had just jetted off to LA - the first stop on an around the world trip I embarked on with my gorgeous boyfriend. I was literally living the dream. Constantly having a million had-to-be-there-times. Or at least I used to. By the age of 19 I had just jetted off to LA - the first stop on an around the world trip I embarked on with my gorgeous boyfriend. I was literally living the dream. Little did I know 2 years later the fairytale would take me to Newport (I know not quite the same as New Zealand) where I would move into an apartment with the guy I was head over heals in love with. Just a shame he didn't feel the same way. 2 months later I'm back in Barrybados (again not quite as glam) faced with a million unanswered questions and a few black bags full of belongings. This is not the only sudden change to happen in my life (obviously it wouldn't be that easy) I kinda realised when your made to wear a claw on your t-shirt and work an 11 hr shift it's time for a new job! Not to mention the fact that your manager resorts to someone with a ouija board telling him to scatter stones and add water features to increase sales! So I'm faced with being single for the first time since I was 16 and now have the added challenge of finding a new job - hmmm fun times!
Since the recent change in my relationship status I've attempted to get the girl I lost in my last relationship back. This quest has included Salsa lessons, spontaneous piercings, lucky strikes at the casino (lets not mention the bad) and drunken food fights with my best friend. Yes my random streak is back *pause for applause* the award for my most random activity to date was completed in the month of August - lets just say it wasn't quite the mundane Monday morning shopping trip I expected it to be. Instead of leaving Cardiff with (the intended) jogging bottoms I left with a Visa and a one way ticket to Australia (leaving in less than 3 weeks) I've realised it's about time I tried things on my own - without a guy there to hold my hand
So follow me, my best friend and our wheelie suitcases (not backpacks) in our journey in finding bliss (with a few Australian men thrown in for good measure)
Sydney here we come!
... Guess that kind of sorts out my job situation aswell right *scratches head* (hmm when to tell my manager
