The Trip of Dreams (part1)
(By John)
Hey party people, hope all is well back in sunny England and those of you who work are enjoying the daily routine! Its becoming really difficult for us at the moment, Ads and I are feeling fine now, and we have been spending a lot of time on a tropical beach north east of Malaysia...its so tough, white sandy beaches surrounded by thick jungle, and clear blue sea lapping around our feet. Im telling you guys, you think you have it hard at work...try sunbathing for hours on end eating fresh fruit, and some of the nicest home made dishes around (apart from yours mum!)...its a chore i tell thee! "Long Beach" is about 300meters long consisting of 2 basic restuarants, 2 dive/snorkel shops, a small place that sells the essentials like sun lotion and post cards, and a couple of places at either end of the beach as accomodation.
Our first day consisted of swimming out to a jetty about 200meters out at sea and chilling out on that for a while in search of the perfect tan...ok, so we got slightly sun burnt...."he who dares Rodders, he who dares my son!" We will learn to put lotion on our backs next time...OUCH!
Day two, we decided to actually get off our asses and go and explore the surrounding islands thrown in with a bit of snorkeling which was quality! We visted a few really nice places; shark point and Turtle bay (very cliche i know!) just to name a couple...we didnt see any sharks which sucked but we did manage to swim with turtles which was wicked on the decks! We all looked like those special kids from school though as we all decided to wear t-shirts and cover up our backs from the scorching sun (I can just hear our Mums breathing a sigh of relief!). The number of tropical fish that surround you when you get in the water is crazy...i kid you not, there were hundreds of the things all around us it was madness.
Dragons. Big f**k off dragons. Dragons about 2-3 meters long...im not going mad, we had a family of MASSIVE lizards (or Komodo Dragons!?) living free on the island and the number of times we walked right by them was scary...that Steve Irwin bloke would have creamed himself (excuse the expression mum) over these little beauts! The island only had electricity between 7pm and 1am so we needed to get back to our hut by torch light keeping a close look out for those beasts!
After some more relaxing in the sun, eating fresh food and generally enjoying ourselves we decided to travel south (still on the east coast) to explore some more. We are now in a place called Kuala Terrenganu, about a 3 hour ride from Kuala Besut (mainland by Long beach)...to be honest its a bit rubbish so we have decided one night is enough and have packed up and are now leaving to a smaller fishing village further south in an attempt to grab a lift on a boat to another island for some more relaxing...i told you its a hard life all this traveling!

PS- A quick note to Adams Dad, and Rich...shame about Chelsea getting beat by United..i was gutted, and now ive managed to see the goal...i wont write down how im really feeling.
