(Written by Spence) Whats up everyone, I have 2 hours to kill until the Pompey Chelsea game is on so thought id quickly update you lot as to what we have been up to...although this will be a slightly sensored version as our families will be reading this....but lads you will get the full stories via emails im sure. To be honest, we have had one of the best/craziest weeks since we have been here...it compares to Same Same in Thailand...but for obvious reasons not as hard core as that week. As i said in my previous postcard we had met some fantastic people who have been amazing...the last few days in Kuta were so much fun...we met 2 great girls, Dani and Gemma who have been such a laugh to be around and a lot of fun....in more ways than one! The past few days have consisted of a lot of charity work....by that i mean helping the economy by drinking lots of local beer and buying shyt loads of DVD's at a ridiculously cheap prices hense the bulk buying. We thought it was time to stop the party life style for a bit, so have broken the girls hearts and have headed up north to a small quiet place where we can relax and unwind in the seriously hot sun...it must have been 36 degrees all day today and not a cloud in the sky! SORT ME OUT!! We are slumming it in a 4 star resort with a pool, a big room with 3 beds, a restaurant, and a tv room showing football......all for 2 pounds each a night!!! SO CHEAP! we figured you can live here for a year for 700 quid each! Its very quiet due to the bombs that went off last month in Kuta, but that has lowered a lot of prices around this area...and made the locals a bit more pushy and annoying...but its understandable i suppose. Our plan is to stay here for about 5 or 6 days and try and get on a PADI advanced open water diving course for a couple of days as we are all seriosuly missing the feeling of diving at the moment...thats 200 bucks but well worth it....we hope. Then hopefully after that we will head north east to the Gilley Islands for a week or so, and then return to Bali for a few days! Slight dilemma about our flights at the mo as our visa here runs out on December 18th but our flight isnt scheduled until the 21st so we need to sort that out! rubbish! Ok this is too long im off.
