We stayed in a campsire in Rotorua on Monday night and the 1st thing we noticed upon driving into Rotorua was the smell! There is a lot of sulphur and the place smelt like rotten eggs! The campsite was situated just outside the town centre and free from the sulphur smell! The owner was a lovely lady and half way through the evening Mark came into the campervan with her and a tv and dvd player and Lord of the Rings to watch!!

On Tuesday morning we got up and drove to the zorbing place where Matt and Carol decided to roll down the hill in a giant inflatable hamster ball! it was funny to watch! They both went in the same zorb and it was filled with hot water so by the bottom of the hill they were both really wet!

After the zorbing we went into Rotorua town and saw the thermal spas. It was really strange as all the pools were bubbling and steaming with all the sulphur.

We then drove to Taupo which was our next stop!!
