Hello my happy peeps!

Hope none of you have been blown away by the bad weather back home! It has made the evening news out here so must be quite bad (we sure do pick the right time to go away!)

So… apologies for the lack of updates, we have been a bit busy having a holiday and that. But we thought it was about time we did a small bit of work.

Well it has been fun & games since returning to civilization after living the outback bush life. We Started by heading to a town called Newcastle (a bit up the coast from Sydney) It turned out to be Bournemouth down under! It was so funny, there was just nothing to do there at all & the hotel we booked in to (Noah's on The Beach) turned out to be Noah's bloody ark! It was all old and that as I am sure you have seen from our pics!

So in true Sparky style I firstly upgraded the hotel to a nice little boutique place in the city center, then thought to hell with this Newcastle place & booked a Hotel on Darling Harbor, Sydney. We then spent 2 days in Newcastle eating, shopping, drinking & going on wine tours. Happy days!

Sydney was cool; we met up with my bro & his partner and had dinner & drinks, did heaps of shopping, went to Manly for the day & had dinner in China Town

Then we headed to Perth for the final Oz leg of the trip. And what a lovely surprise I felt like another upgrade what I saw the hotel!! (Well what can I say, I have standards) and there was food crust on the bed spread, GROSS!!! (gotta look at the pics to see that!) So after re-booking yet another new hotel we headed off to a place called Fremantle for a few chill out days. It is this chilled out little town on the coast about 30 mins from Perth. It was well nice, we did sweet FA apart from eat, drink & sunbathe (just what holidays are for) There was this cool brewery place called Little Creatures and you have your meal inside the brewery which is right by the sea. Needless to say I spent most of my money at this place! Also spent a day at the beach! Well we are in Australia!

Then back to Perth for the last two days. After the small drama of the new hotel not receiving our booking confirmation & them NOT HAVING A ROOM FOR US! All ended well when they gave me free wine and an upgrade on my original booking.

Yesterday was spent on a wine tour (very drunken) you can only imagine! And we leave the land of happiness tonight. Not so happy about that one. I told Graham we should play hide & seek in Oz! They will never find us!

A few lessons have been learnt on our adventures down under. 1- Just book nice hotels in the first place! 2 - After the first upgrade we shall refer to further ones as changes / amendments (well it gets too samey otherwise!) 3 - Drink even more4 - Buy a one way ticket next time 5- eerrr well I am sure there are many more, but can't think of them all right now! Any thoughts peeps?

So now our bags are packed and will have till 9pm tonight to make the most of our last few hours in Oz before heading off to Hong Kong for a 2 day eating fest! Yummm chine chine & ribs!

We will see all you cold and pale peeps next week, for now I am off to top up the tan!
