Leisurely breakfast with Danny, who had a real problem just getting a couple of boiled eggs for breakfast! Rest of us had sausage, egg, bacon & toast.

Chilled upstairs on the roof terrace for a couple of hours: L darned clothes, kids played, wrote postcards & made plasticine Buddhas and Nagas.

Whilst chatting, Danny had a "difference of opinion" with a drunk American bloke, which soured the atmosphere somewhat! So made our excuses and went for walk to Lumphini Park - saw Monitor Lizards. Stopped at kids play area, while D unsuccessfully searched for cooling beverages!

J started to complain of sore feet and tiredness, and then of a headache. Walked back to hotel - the heavens opened, and we all got absolutely soaked! Showered, changed and then out to eat. J deteriorated, and struggled to eat his cheese toasties. Back to hotel via 7-11 for beers - put kids to bed and sat in Dannys room for an hour, chatting and drinking Singhas.

Then to bed.
