Didn't wake up until after 9am (!), so got kids to start their schoolwork, but decided to go out for breakfast before they were finished, as everyone was hungry. We went back to the same place as yesterday, & had the same breakfast - the ladies even remembering how we liked our coffee, & bringing D mayo with his chips! Just before we paid, we saw a hummingbird in the tree next to us! We returned to the stationers for L to buy a pad of paper to use for her Spanish studies, then went back to our room, for the kids to finish their schoolwork.
We walked through town, to the bus station, & bought tickets for the 1pm bus to San Juan Cosala. We managed to get off at the correct bus stop (thanks to a couple of fellow passengers) & there was a stall selling swimwear, just across the road, where we bought D,J&M new swimming costumes (M$300). The entrance to the pools (M$190/80) was only 20m further down the road, & we were soon playing in the bath temperature water! The first pool was large, with a water slide that D&M went on, a lot of times! J tried it once, but got bumped by his sister, & didn't want to go again! After an hour, we changed pools, & spent some time under cover, in the shade, listening to a Mariachi band, whilst floating in the hot pool. D&L also tried the adults' only hot tub, but at 41˚C, it was a bit too warm to stay in for any length of time! All too soon, the afternoon had passed, & we were returning to Chapala on the bus.
After a brief stop at the hotel to hang our things up to dry, we went out for tea at a fantastic restaurant - D's chicken mole was excellent, & the kids finally got to eat the hamburgers that they had been after for the past couple of days! We returned to our room, via the water & beer shop, & D&L watched an episode of the Tudors, before turning in.
