And so our month in Cadiz draws to an end and we pack our bags again for some more adventuring.
We settled into our apartment and got to know our neighbourhood. Our typical day involved waking up at 11ish, getting a strong hot black coffee from the smiley man in the local cafe, walking to the beach and jogging for 40minutes. Then, after we'd stretched and complained about every muscle we grabbed some fresh seafood or meat from the market, maybe a rabbit from the game butcher and some veges. Home for lunch then some work in the afternoon. In the evenings we'd walk to the beach via the DVD shop and the lolly shop and the grog shop. Every second day mandy went to the old town for Spanish lessons while Gav stayed at home and drank cheap wine while trading. Sometimes we'd sneak out at 10pm for some tapas but most of the time we watched Lost in spanish and got even more lost or Dancing with the Stars which could be understood without much speaking.
The days are chilly now, some days are foggy, one time it rained all week and was freezing. But the sunsets are amazing. Still, time for us to head south to warmer climes. Tomorrow, Morocoo!
