Rome was more fantastical than we could have imagined! Most historical town or cities have a smattering of old buildings here and there, spread far and wide across the country. But Rome...every which way you turn there is a monument or structure in all its ancient glory, staring you in the face. The reason for heading to the south of Israel was to cross the border into Jordan. We were off to see Petra and Wadi Rum.
