On the flight to Phuket we had the most legendary plane announcer I have ever had in my entire life. He made everybody laugh and of all my years of travelling I've never heard such a hilarious announcer! We got a taxi, found a hotel then I went straight to bed, completely exhausted.

For breakfast me and Isaac walked down some random roads to find proper street food. We stumbled into an alley and found street food as real as it gets, a local woman was literally cooking outside on her doorstep. We got chicken drumsticks which were soooooo good. The bus took us back home and dropped us at the Vietnam War Remnants Museum. It was very powerful and moving. There were sickening stories about the deaths of soldiers and also innocent civilians and children. There was also a gallery of recent photos of people who are still affected by the events of the Vietnam War to this day. Agent Orange, the chemical that was sprayed onto villagers caused many children a generation later to be born with various deformities...

Today we went to see the Cu Chi Tunnels, the underground passage ways used by the Viet Cong! We had the pleasure of having An as our tour guide again. We learnt some facts about the tunnels - it took a total of about 25 years to dig, the locals lived down there for 9 whole years! Tried and failed for a lie in, the curtains weren't too functional, so just rolled around in bed for three hours watching Adventure Time. For brunch - street food finally!
