Today we went back to the embassy to collect our visas. No crazy tuktuk drivers this time as we went for a taxi - costing us the adventure, but saving us monies and possibly our lives. For breakfast we tried what we thought was grilled frog, but then realised that it wasn't. To this day we still don't know what we ate. Guess it's more exciting that way, to never know. Arrived at Bangkok and Isaac and Ben collected me from the airport and took me back to our hotel in Chinatown. Miramar hotel was easily a five star and was pretty luxurious. Fifteen and a half hour flight to Bangkok by myself was a long bore and the films were awful, but thanks to a book I brought along and the excitement of arriving at Bangkok, they kept me going.
