We woke up feeling fairly rough but soon got out of it. For breakfast, the guys who work at the villa cooked us whatever we requested and served us hand and foot, cleaning up after us and that. Felt pretty guilty as they were so helpful so I made sure to be polite and thank them! Even though we've spent a hell of a lot on the villa per night, I reckon I'll give them a decent tip! After a chill in the pool, and Rick teaching me how to play poker and such, me, Nic and Isaac went snorkelling which was nice once I managed to master the snorkel mask and breathing tube! The coral round here is very big and pretty cool! My feet got a little battered, but I guess it's' the price you gotta pay. I saw a funky eel and lots of angel and parrot fish but unluckily no turtles :(, maybe next time.
Gili is possibly the best holiday place I've ever been to. Much nicer than Bali, nobody hassles you, people are friendly and so chilled out :).
Come afternoon, we watched the dictator, which was offensively funny. Then me, Rick, Nic and Isaac went out for a candlelit dinner on the beach. Back home, had a power nap then got my drink on and headed out. We went to the busiest bar on the strip which was a reggae bar with live reggae music which was pretty sweet. We bumped into four English people that we saw had been staying at the same hotel as us in Bali and so chilled with them, Lucy, Rhiannon, Graham and Paul I think. Found out that the girls went to uni at Leeds, so we had a chat about that for a while. Graham convinced us to get vodka joss which was some kind of energy powder that you take before shotting straight vod. Not too bad, but so fizzy because the powder foamed away in your mouth. After drinks at the reggae bar we went further down the beach and found a beach gazebo and chilled there. We headed home about half three in the morn and went straight to bed.
