We arrived in Puerto Iguazu (the Argentine side) ann hour or so later than we were supposed to. Then, in the stinking heat, we found a local bus to take us over the border to the Brazilian side. Although the bus dropped us all off to get our stamps to leave Argentina, and picked us up again, he did not do the same at the Brazilian immigration (and only dropped us off there because I requested it). Instead, he gave us tickets to board a different bus once we had our stamps. We waited over an hour in the heat for another stinking bus. And then, to make matters worse, once we arrived at the hostel, we found out that the pool was getting cleaned and we wouldn't be able to swim in it today. Grumble.
The rest of the afternoon we escaped the heat by staying inside the room, bought a frozen pizza from the supermarket for dinner, ate it at the hostel, then decided we were still hungry so went on for a hunt for an ATM, and bought olives and bread for second dinner.
