Got woken up loads in the night by the club next door but found my trusty ear plugs so not to worry!!

I headed out this morning to the hotel zone in Cancun which is where all the big hotels are, and all the Americans!!! It wasn´t a particularly dry day but still hot and humid as it always seems to be.

I had a wander along and actually ended up`walking for about 4 miles, and that wasn´t even halfway. The beach was so pretty and the sea was really clear and aqua blue, even though it was overcast.

I met the boys for lunch in an Aussie restuarant and was so shocked at the price of things here after coming from other places which aren´t so much for American tourists!!

Did a bit of shopping in the mall, then went back to the hotel and met up with the new people. They all seem really lovely and i´m sure we´ll have a good time with them, there is now 13 of us so its a much bigger group and i´m now sharing a room with two other girls - one from the UK and one from Oz.

Nothing else exciting to report from today but we had a pretty early night as we´ve got a long day tomorrow to Chichen Itza - so more to come soon.....
