We left Broome, everyone ready and sorted, at about 1pm and made to just outside Derby by 4:30pm ish. We set up just off the side of the highway for the night for our first night "wild camping" ie not a campsite just pitching up anywhere we could. The first thing me and Rach noticed was the fact that right by where we had pitched up there was a sign that read "Caution, Crocodiles in area" which did make sence as we where right by a creek! no one else seemed that bothered so we carried on. The Evening was filled by eating a lovly curry one of the other guys make and then listening to the only Ozzy in the group play his various instraments like including a guitar. The next mornng we woke up early and set off the the Gibb River Road and the start to our off roading adventure to Darwin over 5000kms away!
